 Valentine's Protest 2018: 7,000 pairs of shoes

  neatly arranged on the nation's Capitol Lawn in Washington, DC, to
"stand" for children who died from gun violence since Sandy Hook in 2012. 
They were arranged in 70 rows...ballet shoes and athletic trainers, flip flops
and bedroom slippers...all kinds ofsilent symbols unique lost lives...Credit

 H -O -L -I -D -A -Z -Z -L -E 2017 is now a terrific memory!!!  Our Holiday Brunch, home-made dessert table, Good Earth Award, live & silent auctions were so much fun.  We had a super team who really did the party splendid. Here's how it was...
